BATC FIRST NATIONS SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT February 24th 2010 Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs (BATC) is pleased to announce the launching of the BATC First Nation Solid Waste Management Project which was proposed under First Nations Infrastructure Fund and meant to improve the quality of life and the environment for First Nation communities of the BATC by assisting them to improve and increase public infrastructure on reserves. "We are very pleased to move forward with this new initiative in an accountable and transparent way on behalf of the membership we serve," Chief Sheldon Wuttunee of Red Pheasant First Nation said. |
