Responsibilities / Duties · Work with Federal and Provincial Governments on accelerated training and employment opportunities. · Understanding of career coaching and the ability to develop strategic partnerships with First Nations, employers, training institutions and funding agents. · Ability to deliver career assessment, mentorship, job coaching, job searching, resume writing, interviewing techniques, work preparation, pre employment training and referencing, employment matching. · Understanding of Income Assistance programs and clients, National Child Benefit Reinvestment Program and Aboriginal Human Resource Development Agreements. · Understanding of First Nations Economic Development, Saskatchewan Economy & Industry Growth and labor markets in the region. · Data base development and management. · Good Understanding of First Nations Culture and Language. Qualifications · Education / Training background comparable in Business and Human Resource Development. · Relative experience in Training, Human Resource Development, Industry Relations, Economic Development. · Class 5 Drivers License. FNIYES - Summer Work Experience Program Summer Student Office Assistant Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Inc. (BATC) is seeking applications for three (3) positions of Summer Student Office Assistant for a term starting July 28, 2010 and ending August 20, 2010: Summer Student Office Assistant: Including the Summer Student Manager, all Summer Employees will gain experience in all the BATC Departments including Sports and Recreation, Education, Public Works, Economic Development and Office Administration. General responsibilities will be to follow the BATC Personnel Manual and practice proper time management. FNIYES - Summer Work Experience Program Summer Student Manager Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs Inc. (BATC) is seeking applications for the position of Summer Student Manager for a term starting July 28, 2010 and ending August 20, 2010: Summer Student Manager: This individual will be responsible for providing general supervision to the three other Summer Employees, managing timesheets, planning activities in coordination with the various BATC Departments and Department Heads. The supervisor will assist in payroll, expense claims, and provide reports when required. This individual will also be the main contact with the BATC Bands in assisting with other responsibilities that may arise through the course of their employ. General responsibilities will be to follow the BATC Personnel Manual, practice proper time management, and communicate well with BATC staff as well as the other Summer Employees.
